1950-1970


It's the story of a family business that has its roots in an shipping enterprise of old maritime traditions that started in 1954 as ASIMARFIELD SHIPPING CORPORATION of Monrovia, with an European delegation in Lausanne Switzerland and technical and commercial management of GEARNAVI SPA of Genoa Italy. Originally running a fleet of "Liberty" type vessels and then entering the tanker sector.

1970-1980



Following the development of vessels sizes, types and traffic evolution, the Enterprise has a story of re-organization over the years accumulating experience in owning and managing different types of vessels in both the dry and tanker sectors.

1980-2000



The Enterprise since the beginning of the '80s focused primarily on O.B.O. and tanker vessels also developing joint ventures with oil trading companies and with friendly shipowners.

2000-2010



At the beginning of 2000 the Entrprise launched an extensive newbuilding program comprising four tankers and two oil product carriers for delivery between 2002 and 2003. All vessels were timely sold in the course of 2004. In 2005 two oil product carriers were ordered in Korea for delivery in 2006 and than sold in 2008. In additions four vessels were taken on long time charter .

2010 to-date



In March 2010 the Enterprise returns to the dry sector ordering two 35,000 DWT bulk carriers in Korea for delivery in 2011. One of the two vessels is sold on delivery ex-yard and the second one in April 2014. In December 2015 after the Baltic Dry Index reached one of the lowest level in history the Enterprise bought a 58,000 dwt bulk carrier and subsequently in 2016 and 2017 added two sister vessels to the fleet.
